IMPORTANT EVERY PERSON MUST
wear a buoyancy aid at all times whilst on the boat
T&C'S
1) The boats are inspected annually and licensed by Fowey Harbour Commissioners. They are fully insured and provided with lifebuoys and one buoyancy aid per adult and lifejacket per child. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that any child over the age of one year wear suitable lifejackets at all times whilst on the boat. IMPORTANT: EVERY PERSON MUST wear a buoyancy aid at all times whilst on the boat.

2) The stated carrying capacity of the boat must not be exceeded. A child of one year of age is counted as one person. It is not considered advisable to take babies on the boats as suitable lifejackets are not available.
3) The proprietor is not liable for death, personal injury or loss or damage to hirer’s property unless it is caused by the proprietor’s negligence or willful default.
4) No person under the age of 18 may hire the proprietor’s boats.
5) The boats must not be used outside of the harbour limits nor during the hours of darkness nor when the visibility is less than 100 metres. When the wind speed is in excess of 18 knots (Beaufort wind force 5) they must not be used in any area south of Albert Quay, Fowey.
6) The boats are always under the control of the proprietor and any instructions or conditions made by the proprietor or the Harbour Authority that are further required for the safety and well being of the boats and passengers must be fully complied with.
7) When not in use the boats must be kept on the moorings provided by or approved by the proprietor.
8) If any of the conditions of the hire are violated the proprietor reserves the right to terminate the hire. A proportionate refund of the hire charge will be made.
9) A charge will be made for any damage or breakages to the boat or equipment or any lifejacket or for any gas cylinder discharged for other than safety or emergency reasons.

10) If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the chosen boat should not be available an alternative or a full refund will be offered.
11) Boats will be ready for collection/delivery from 12 Noon on the 1st day of hire and must be returned by 9.00am on the day of completion unless prior arrangements with Maurice
